## Overview

NICE HMS is a cloud-based Hospital Information Management System built by a team of clinicians and engineers who understand Indian healthcare. It bridges the gap between clinical workflows and technology in a way generic Western HMS platforms cannot.

Unlike one-size-fits-all systems, NICE HMS understands Indian healthcare: OPD queues, preprinted letter pads, ABDM compliance mandates, PMJAY insurance workflows, and the reality that a 5-bed nursing home in Hubballi has different needs than a 200-bed corporate hospital in Mumbai.

NICE HMS runs on Google Cloud Platform (App Engine + Cloud Run). There is no on-premise installation. Updates are automatic. Data is stored in Google Cloud SQL with encrypted backups and TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit.
