Accessing Old Patients

With Time number of patients added in the software increase and it becomes important to access the old patients records. In India patients most often come with out thier reocrds. So medical establishments have to access the records from thier database. Further Indian names are spelled in multiple ways. To deal with this issue NiceHMS has Search Module fo patients. You can get patinet Id from this module.

1. If you know the patient ID than accessing  the patient records is very simple just put that Patient Id (which is created durring first patient registration) in input box of horizontal bar (logged in state) and press enter you will be redirected to patient mangament page refferenced that patient
2. If you dont know the patient ID than press Patient options from sidebar of admin area (logged in state) This will open a panel,  in the panel under Patinet section click  "Serach | Edit | Delete Patient" you will be redirected to search module. From here you can write first alphabets of patients name  in appropriate input box. You can add more criteria to filter from very large data set. More often Mobile number seems to be where good option to access patients. It is good practice  to write correct mobile number while registaring new patient. This  further becomes very helpfull even for communication at a later date.
