Forgot Password

Overview

If you forget your NICE HMS password, you can reset it yourself from the login page — no admin intervention is needed.

Where is the forgot-password page?

The "Forgot Password" link is on the login page, below the login form.

• Login page: /auth/login
• Forgot-password page: /auth/forgot-password

On the login screen, click the Forgot Password link at the bottom of the form.

How to reset your password

1. Go to /auth/login and click Forgot Password.
2. On the forgot-password page, enter the email address linked to your account.
3. Submit the form. NICE HMS sends a password-reset link to that email.
4. Open the email and click the link — it opens the change-password page (/auth/change-password?token=…).
5. Enter your new password and save it.

After that, log in with your email and the new password.

Notes

• The reset link is sent to the email on file for the account.
• There is a 30-second cooldown between reset-link requests for the same account — if you request again too quickly you will see a "please wait" message.
• The reset link carries a short-lived token; if it expires, request a new one from the forgot-password page.

Reseller accounts

Reseller-panel users have a separate forgot-password flow:

• Reseller forgot password: /api/reseller/forgot-password
• Reseller change password: /api/reseller/change-password

The reseller reset email uses its own template and link.
