Sign in with Yahoo lets you log in to NICE HMS with your Yahoo account instead of typing an email and password. It is an extra way to sign in, not a way to create an account — your NICE HMS account must already exist and be active.
The Sign in with Yahoo button appears on the login pages, next to Sign in with Google, just below the email/password form:
/auth/login/authw/login/reseller/loginClick it and choose the Yahoo account whose email address matches your NICE HMS account.
The email on your Yahoo account must match the email your administrator used when creating your NICE HMS user.
You cannot create a NICE HMS account with Yahoo. If no account exists for your Yahoo email (or the account has been deactivated), sign-in fails with:
Sign-in failed. Use your email and password, or contact your administrator.
Ask your administrator to create the account — or reactivate it — using the same email.
I am already signed in to Yahoo in my browser and it used the wrong account. Yahoo reuses the account you are signed in as. Sign out of Yahoo in your browser, or use Yahoo's account switcher, then try again.
It fails on a whitelabel domain.
Each domain must be registered with Yahoo for this feature. Contact support if the button works on nicehms.com but fails only on your custom domain.
I normally sign in with a password — does this change anything? No. Email and password sign-in continues to work exactly as before.
Sign in with Google works but Yahoo does not. Yahoo requires an exact, registered callback domain and does not work during local development. If you see an error on a preview or development address, try the site's main address instead.
Q: Does Sign in with Yahoo create a new account? A: No. It only signs you in to an account your administrator already created with the same email.
Q: Can I still use my password? A: Yes — your password continues to work. Yahoo is simply an alternative.
Q: Why is the failure message so generic? A: NICE HMS shows the same message whether the account does not exist or is inactive, so it never reveals which email addresses are registered. Check that your administrator created your account with this exact email.
